A spiritual kick in the bum
Hello there everyone. And a big hello to those of you who wondered what on earth is she doing, we havent heard from her in a long, long time.
I started this website initially as I had been approached by a website builder to host his "readings" website. However, within weeks of building this, my emails and phone calls to him had gone unanswered and I quite frankly gave up.
The has been a few spiritual murmurings about resurrecting this site, but the truth is, the beauty of the bush, animals and all my plans for the farm here have been louder than the voice that asks me to sit inside Hee hee.
This week though, those murmurings have turned to full on shouts and so even though the sun shines brightly outside, here i sit.
Life is great, life is fun, LIFE is one huge lesson. But when i reflect back on the past 7 months, i realise the amount of learning i have undertaken.
As i write, Marfoo, one of the horses here, is approaching to ask for his tea. Poor Marfoo, the first attempt to rug him last winter was an absolute disaster. I put the rug on back to front and i swear he huffed the rug up over his face, looked at me amused and in such a way that said "wrong way dickhead"
He is such a gentle horse and of course forgiving, he has to be with me at the helm of his care. So gentle are both the horses in our care that they turned our horse terrified, adult son, into a horse patting and even at times feeding, one. He still wont walk behind them but the difference in him is amazing.
Clients love having them mull about while I honour bookings and one or two have thought one of them might just happen to fit in the backseat for a visit at their home.
Ants are a problem out here and fitting into my spiritual nature, i went about asking them to move on.
"shoo" doesn't work on Ants.
A quite and polite word about making their home further away from the house, doesnt work on ants.
in desperation I thought i would google an removal. (after telling them sternly they had had their chance) First method was to pour vinegar down the nest and then empty a box of bicarb down there. This resulted in a volcanno of rather cross ants, and the first of my new skill, running like crazy.... next came the instructions to empty Cayenne pepper into dishwashing liquid and pour into the nest. First rain storm we had and out they came asking for conditioner.......... Ants 1, Suzie 0
yes they are still there, we have a firm agreement, come inside and you're gone. So far so good.
So whilst i could sit and prattle all day I wont. I have just come on to say HI, Here i am, and I will pop on soon to update you on the adventures so far.
Big blessing everyone.
